Hú Zhăng Zhū comes to Fuxing Park in Shanghai every day and writes poems on the ground with water. Lisa Truttmann tells about it in her cinematic miniature, which is a narrative of an encounter, documentation of a tradition, and media-theoretical reflection rolled into one. The observation of a practice that conceives of letters as also always images, causes the filmmaker to reflect on her own action.
