“We have decided that we no longer know each other.” The end of a relationship. The male off-screen voice has lost its certainties. Reality and projection are no longer distinguishable. Video clips show group scenes in summer light. The commentary imagines sovereignty in future encounters. Stephanie Bergwinkl’s short film is a fragmentary essay about the self-image being shaken by a separation and the mechanisms for processing it.
