Jury statement: Between dream and phantasm, reality remains at a standstill. Cobwebs tell of time stopped in a remote, dimly lit refuge in Jordan, in which three generations of women gradually reveal their experiences of violence. In calm images and extreme close-ups, the director creates an intimate closeness to her protagonists, literally crawling under their skin.  The enigma of their existence gradually unfolds, impressively revealing the great power of documentary storytelling, which emerges directly from the characters in all its simplicity.
