Claustrophobic photos of immigrants at the train station, accompanied by distraught faces and a sharp voice from the loudspeaker. Ironically accentuated German marching music plays, while people press into overcrowded trains and sad relatives stare motionlessly at their loved ones. In the end, the train sets off, bringing the crying girl’s parents to the promised paradise—with no certainty of their return.
