Flying is a dream and a passion, a job and a destiny. The two pilots, Nilton and Fernando, fly over the Amazon, the most immense river and forest landscape on the planet. Poetic images of this unique environment form a backdrop to their philosophising about their job and the fascination of flight. Fact and fantasy constantly intertwine in this film that balances poetry and realism, everyday life and dream, and combines them into a current which pulls you in.
