VERA follows the eponymous daughter of the famous Italian western star Giuliano Gemma as she moves between the Roman celebrity world and a working-class family with whom she establishes contact after a car accident. Because Tizza Covi and Rainer Frimmel encounter their contradictory protagonist gently, at eye level, a genuinely humanistic film arises, in which life does away with all prejudices.
