Detour de Force shows the world of hard-drinking bellboy and thoughtographer Ted Serios, who caused a stir in the 1960s with his ability to produce numerous Polaroid images through sheer force of mind. The film, constructed from 16mm archive material and audio recordings, identifies social and scientific connections in depicting the inexplicable.
