At one time the Erzberg mine exploitation provided jobs for citizens of the Vordernberg municipality; today the hopes lie in the prospective detention center for asylum seekers. Juri Schaden interweaves images of design plans for proposed construction alongside ambivalent perspectives on security, freedom and detention. The result is not an irrefutable, linear narration, but rather an interpretively open, cinematic essay.
