My legs long for the sea; this is the filmmaker’s sentiment. So she sets off, with no particular destination – after all, that is the only way to really know where you’re going. Her adventure takes her through Bulgaria to Romania, then on to the Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. She takes snapshots along the way – architecture, faces. It is a fascinating collection of that which can only be experienced in the moment: odors and scents, the breeze on one’s bare skin, a farewell embrace.
