Lisl Ponger assembles various amateur recordings made by “world travelers” into a collage and cleverly ensures moments of irritation: by changing the perspective away from the filmed to the filmmakers. The arrangement of the found-footage material questions the colonial regime of the gaze and turns the filmed locations into sites for a confrontation of gazes.
