Ne naginji se van / Nicht hinauslehnen

The boasting of a neighbor who has emigrated to Germany and is on vacation in his home village in Yugoslavia awakens hopes of a paradise on earth for Filip Zaja. A short time later, he is on the train to Frankfurt. But shortly after he arrives, all his illusions have vanished. Following in Zaja’s footsteps, Bogdan Žižić dives into Frankfurt in the 1970s and traces how the hopes of Yugoslavian migrant workers clash with the bitter reality of West Germany.
