A green plastic bag dances through the picture, glides across a street, twists and turns in the wind. Its incessant movement marks the boundaries of the fixed image detail. From a hotel terrace in Gondar, Ethiopia, Tim Sharp points the camera at everyday life on the dusty street: people cross through the picture, linger at or walk along the wall of the building. What goes beyond the edge of the picture is a matter of speculation.
