Munich in summer. The retiree Gerd (Claus Peter Seifert) roams the streets collecting empty returnables. He meets the working, partying, and bathing city dwellers as an open and friendly man who always has something witty to say. But not everyone seems well disposed toward Gerd. The empathic short by Bernhard Wohlfahrter discreetly critiques society and questions privileges.
