The Klezmer Project

Argentinian filmmaker Leandro earns his living as a cameraman at Jewish weddings. At one of these, he falls in love with Paloma, the clarinettist in a Klezmer band. When the two decide to shoot a documentary about traditional Yiddish folks music, the “project” turns into an entertaining journey through eastern Europe. Music documentation, road movie, and search for traces combine to create an informative yet humorous look at Jewish cultural heritage worldwide.
