Rickerl – Musik is höchstens a Hobby

Rickerl, a singer and composer whom at least his pals in the pub consider a genius, knows that “the present is shit.” But he chickens out before his appointment at ORF, so he has to work in a fast food restaurant to pay the alimony. Voodoo Jürgens plays this character, who is close to his real one, in Adrian Goiginger’s new film, which is also a typical Goiginger film: a tragicomic fairy tale from the best of all worlds, childhood; and from those years when smoking still helped.
