“I’ve been living one floor below since yesterday,” says the narrator. But no one else seems to have noticed this mysterious circumstance. Inspired by a story by the author Ilse Aichinger, who survived the Nazi terror in hiding in an apartment, Susi Jirkuff’s animation film queries the (in)visibility of vulnerable people.
