Unrecht und Widerstand

Peter Nestler once again deals with the crimes against Sinti and Roma during and as a result of World War II. In doing so, he avoids everything that would prevent the film from creating the most sincere and concrete picture of history possible. Developing from the precisely assembled archive images and conversations with contemporary witnesses and experts is a history of resistance against a racism that permeates everyday life and politics until the present day.
