A Russian woman and her six-year-old son visit Schönbrunn. The child gets lost while playing. Whereas the mother looks for him in desperation, he roams through the greenhouses lost in thought until the oppressive feeling of abandonment slowly creeps over him. A deliberate film about closeness and otherness, which demonstrates — not only metaphorically — the meaning of the passing of time.
