Somova on the Romanian Danube Delta: goats graze, cats roam, two fishermen struggle with a broken horse carriage. Time has carved itself into the landscape. What once was has stood the test of time – even the garbage that lines the paths. Mirroring this is the film itself, the anachronistic suspension of time, an introspective snapshot, an auditory as well as visual postcard from an age before progress and urgency.
