A journey, both concious and subconscious, through film history. Johann Lurf’s sped-up found footage experiment takes the viewer to the edges of their optical and acoustic senses. Order supplants action – the man on the screen is no longer walking in order to reach a destination. He is walking – first left, then right, then he is sitting in a car – again and again. When looking at Lurf’s ordered, yet disordered images, no one sees the same film twice.
