Over the seasons, Thomas Draschan has conducted a photographic study of the Wotruba church in Vienna. The stringing together of individual photos parallels the structural layering of individual concrete blocks, simultaneously illustrating the temporality of the media-oriented recording process. Real space and cinematic reality are joltingly blurred in a poetic play of light and weather.
