In contrast to the sparkling 20s and 30s and the women’s movements of the 70s, the post-war lesbian scene remained almost completely anonymous and unreported. verliebt, verzopft, verwegen is interested in the lesbian scene in Vienna during that period, and is centred around three women who were part of that scene. Even today their interviews in front of the camera are the exception. A film committed to confronting the tendency to ignore the reality of lesbian lives and alternative lifestyles.
