Waltraud has cancer and doesn't have long to live. Two people want to make her remaining time as pleasant as possible, her partner Enno and her 26-year-old daughter Klarissa. In the process, elderly and cynical bohemian Enno falls in love with Klarissa. And she is torn between the significantly older man and her serious, boring boyfriend Marius. All while her mother passes away...
