Sommerhaus am Attersee
Feature Film, AT 1966, Farbe, 6 min., stumm
Director: Margret Veit
A house in the countryside can be “a home away from home,” which promises rest, isolation and comfort. Film amateur Margret Veit shows her familly’s house at Lake Attersee in such a manner. Houses like this are then searched by two policemen looking for the killer in Zechmeister and become crime scenes in Knittelfeld. Whatever happens in these houses will sooner or later become a topic at the locals’ table at the pub and it won’t take long before the collective forms a verdict against the individual.
