This is a music documentary, which in fact isn’t. The act of playing music is not in question here, but rather the circumstances that generate attitudes, which in turn lead to musical works. In other words, a film about a view of life that resonates in the pop sounds of the eponymous “Ja, Panik” album: A film about melancholy.
