Film as mirror, a common metaphor for the medium, which chronicles and renders the world for us in apparent clarity. In NAVIGATOR the mirror is divided, fragmented, with edges sharp as a knife, constantly changing and mutating. Here, the picture is not a representation, but instead exhibits the elements of its origins: light, reflections, shadows, movement, and rhythm.
