The grandiose finale of Norbert Pfaffenbichler’s celebrated 2551 underground trilogy. After The Orgy of the Damned , in his quest, the masked, nameless ape-man traverses a post-apocalyptic universe populated by grotesque, garish, and disturbing creatures. Expressionist, silent-film aesthetics and industrial soundtrack merge to an audiovisual trip, which turns out to be the ultimate challenge. The end is near.
