Adorno, the old twelve-tone music apologist and Hollywood movie grump is trapped in an old tube television and reads from Kafka’s “The Castle.” A side remark causes a distur­bance and introduces a composition for eyes and ears in which the universe of the technical image disintegrates to find a new form.
