The entire film is inspired by the typewriter's Kugelkopf (golf ball head) – which explains the subtitle, “ode an IBM”. The music at the beginning comes from “Carmen”. (…) then Mini Minus cuts her hair. Her bandaged head becomes a Kugelkopf, her blood becomes ink. As the bandages unwind she begins to write with her mouth, nose, ears, teeth and tongue, until the entire screen is covered. (Mara Mattuschka)
