Women recount the story of their resistance against National Socialism – the danger, the fear, the solidarity. They helped concentration camp inmates escape captivity, supported partisan fighters, and battled terror and isolation in prison. They risked their lives through their resistance. For forty years, the experiences of these women remained buried in obscurity, and for forty years, nobody asked and nobody listened.
