A dead deer in the garden. A sign? Cut. Brand on his way to the hospital. Using a camera the writer documents the final days of his wife’s battle with cancer. In the meantime, the attractive nurse Angela gradually comes into focus. A torrid love affair ensues, and doesn't go unnoticed by her husband. The obsessively jealous policeman lures Brand into a game of cat and mouse, and it looks as if Brand has no way out.
