After the death of her father, the sober alcoholic Michaela travels to her parents’ house in the countryside, where she tries to regain the trust of her daughter from whom she has been estranged since a car accident that she caused. However, before long, the reconciliation of the two is marred by mysterious incidents. What at first seems like a psychogram of a woman with traumatic childhood experiences, develops more and more to sheer
horror—including cinematic shock moments.
