Foreshadowing an impending tragedy, a home video cuts into the storyline. Shaky shots of a couple expecting a child and planning a wedding quickly reveal the idyllic family picture to be a sham. He doesn’t want to get married, and she wants it only to please her mother. Back in the present moment, we witness the predicament coming to a head. As the soundtrack surges, obsession and jealousy spiral out of control – until the final, gruesome act is revealed.
