Gerhard has gone all in: he has emptied his bank account and sold his house, all for Amy, a woman from Thailand, with whom he wants to build a shared future. Samira Ghahremani accompanies him to his new home and documents a transfusion of sorts: while with Amy, all signs point to expansion, Gerhard seems emptier and increasingly out of her field of vision.
