The little-known story of this landscape of ruins, in the midst of Northern Austria’s forest region, began in 1938 when Germany annexed Austria and declared the region a training ground. As a consequence, between 1938 and 1942, forty villages were uprooted and displaced. This film focuses on the memories of those affected.
