A lake set against a wintry backdrop. From the side, a boat edges its way into the camera shot – guided by the filmmaker on a radio. The trail of the boat is traced through the watery screen like brushstrokes. After a few concentrated spirals, the intruder departs and leaves the undulating whirlpool to its own devices: hypnotic, sensuous, subtly ironic.
