Ferry Radax depicts what was an up-and-coming young generation of authors that left their mark on the Graz City Park Forum. Wolfgang Bauer, Barbara Frischmuth, Peter Handke, and others not only read texts but perform in scenes as well. The film was commissioned in 1967 by Wolfgang Kudrnovsky for the ORF-Nachtstudio (Evening Show) and was released eight years later.
