Water, Earth, Fire, Wind – and Space: Five elements, five mindsets. We spend ten minutes immersed in each landscape. Only the natural play of light, some fine wafts of mist or passing cars manage to disturb the peace of the encountered landscapes. The soundtrack recorded on site by Christian Fennesz is rendered into an acoustic, smoldering soundscape, which serves to further enhance the space through image detail and visual projection. It is a trance-like exercise in perception.
