A “normal” work day for aid worker Ute Bock takes place in a crazy world. The film stars some well-known actors from comedy and film, such as Josef Hader and Karl Markovics, as immigration officers, asylum seekers and naggers. “See for yourself, how ugly life is,” says Ute Bock in the beginning of the film. After his documentary Bock for President, Houchang Allahyari uses both documentary and fictional material to show us the portentousness of Austrian immigration politics as well as the involvement and the unwavering humour of Ute Bock who plays herself.
