Georg Stefan Troller, born 1921, worked for many decades as a documentarian, screenwriter, television journalist and is further active today as a writer. In her complex portrait of Troller, Ruth Rieser lets the filmmaker, now one hundred years old, reflect on work, love, and his relationship to Austria, from which he had to flee in 1938. The result is an extremely abundant encounter.
