Two sisters in 960 individual 16mm images in rapid succession. Viktoria Schmidt subjects what one casually identifies as similarity to a cinematic acid test. The compound portrait of the sisters that arises reveals what each one needs to become the other and makes visible something that was only possible in the cinema for a long time: the original proximity of two people, two images.
