A conversation about World War II. At no point concrete, fragments let us guess at things, there is resistance to the questions and to being filmed. Eigentlich vergangen is more of a film about the constellations and dynamics that arise from wanting to find out. The attempt to make a picture evokes, at first, only image interferences.
