Six seconds. That is how long the average museum visitor spends looking at a painting. Director Reinhold Bidner takes five minutes. A zoom leads directly into the centre of the painting – the museum space disappears from view. Constantly changing pictures take us on a journey through art history, before returning to reality and the present. Complete immersion in this world never occurs however. The “outside world” remains present in the shadows of the passing museum visitors.
