What can you do when you sense an estrangement in your relationship with your father, a passionate inventor? “As a filmmaker, I decide to make a documentary about him, and hope, in doing so, to arouse his interest in my work,” says Lisa Hasenhütl. For three years, she accompanied her father as he enthusiastically realized a dragon boat race he had devised on the Mur, creating a clever portrait, told with humor. And in the end, she finds an animal that entails a surprise.
