Marina harbors a distaste for humans but finds solace in David Attenborough’s documentaries about the animal world. She spends her days accompanying her father to chemotherapy and chauffeuring an engineer. Immersing herself in the imitation of animal-like gestures and dance steps, she simultaneously explores the complexities of sexual awakening. Set in a sparsely populated town with a decaying factory, the film employs minimalist aesthetics to distill human attachment and bonding to their raw core.
