Who’s Afraid of RGB
Innovative Cinema Short, AT 2019, DCP, 8 min, kein DialogProgram: POSITION Billy Roisz 2
Who’s Afraid of RGB can be interpreted as a Roisz-style condensation of the romantic movie, drama, and melodrama. The black-and-white film Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is mirrored in nine eyes and superimposed with the colors red, green, and blue. The work develops visual metaphors, concepts, and mutates—over time—to a succession of movements, which resemble the twists that one is exposed to in this genre.
