Claudia gave birth to her son Daniel when she was fifteen. Lisa Weber encounters the family, which includes the two along with Claudia’s mother and brother, in a Viennese public housing estate. None of the three adults are employed, the days drag on, the future is not very promising. Nonetheless, a lot manages to seep out from what are, in-part, seemingly ornamental images: extreme emotionality, helplessness, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston.
