During the Bosnian war, Alisa’s father makes video recordings in Srebrenica for his daughter who was evacuated and stores them on a VHS cassette. Years later, Alisa travels back to Bosnia to understand the history of her war-torn family. During her travels, she is confronted with images that her father wanted to protect her from. An intimate search for traces and answers about family and belonging, after her life was forever changed by one of Europe’s greatest crimes against humanity.
