xxx<\/pre>\nAs part of de Diagonale, Austria’s most highliy endowed film awards will be presented by international jurys<\/a> at the 2026 edition, thereby honouring the many achievements associated with the production of a film. The Franz Grabner Prize, the Carl Mayer Screenplay Awards, the Thomas Pluch Screenplay Awards and the Kodak Analog Award are also traditionally awarded during the Festival of Austrian Film as well as the Kleine Zeitung Diagonale Audience Award. This year, the Mabacher Award will be presented for the first time as part of the Diagonale.<\/p>\n

\nThe Diagonale Awards ceremony<\/strong> will take place on March 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Annenhof Kino. Austria\u2019s most highly endowed film awards will be presented in 19 categories.
