In addition to the cinematic work of Christoph Hochh\u00e4usler, the Diagonale is presenting the dialogue format <em><strong>Revolver Live!<\/strong><\/em> dedicated to <strong>cinematographer J\u00fcrgen J\u00fcrges<\/strong> in a guest appearance in Graz. In addition, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diagonale.at\/en\/filme-a-z\/?ftopic=finfo&amp;fid=12549\">Code inconnu<\/a> by Michael Haneke and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diagonale.at\/en\/filme-a-z\/?ftopic=finfo&amp;fid=12547\">Eisenhans<\/a> by Tankred Dorst, two films in which J\u00fcrges was responsible for the outstanding images, will be screened.<\/p>\n<p><strong>| Revolver Live! This has to do with his quiet manner, and possibly also with the unusual diversity of his filmography. J\u00fcrges has never committed himself to a single trademark and has always embraced new settings, perspectives and narrative styles: from Rainer Werner Fassbinder (with whom he has worked many times, including <em>Angst essen Seele<\/em> auf and <em>Fontane Effi Briest<\/em>) to Michael Haneke (including <em>Funny Games<\/em>, <em>Code inconnu<\/em>), from Wim Wenders (<em>In weit Ferne, so nah!<\/em>) to Uli Edel (<em>Christiane F. &#8211; Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo<\/em>), from Tankred Dorst (<em>Eisenhans<\/em>) to Ilja Chrschanowski (<em>DAU<\/em>), from Roland Klick to Andreas Kleinert, from Helma Sanders-Brahms to Robert van Ackeren. What unites his works, for all their diversity, is an attentive testimony, a documentary ethos that permeates and authenticates the fiction. We look forward to talking to J\u00fcrges about his working method(s) using the concrete example of some selected &#8211; and stylistically very different &#8211; projects.
